🌟Get ready for a week you’ll never forget at Bryce Canyon National Park, where stunning red rock formations meet the clearest night skies! We’ll dive deep into the park’s breathtaking geology, uncover the secrets of its wildlife, and gaze up at the stars in one of the best dark-sky locations in the world. And yes, we’ll even “chase” after Bryce’s famous prairie dogs—don’t worry, it’s all figurative—as we learn about their vital role in this amazing ecosystem.

Geology

• Hoodoos & Erosion: Get up close with Bryce’s iconic hoodoos and uncover how frost-wedging and erosion shape these incredible formations.

Astronomy & Dark Skies

• Stargazing: Under the brilliant night sky, we’ll explore constellations, the Milky Way, and dive into planetary science.

Ecology & Wildlife

• Prairie Dogs: Meet the Utah prairie dogs, Bryce’s keystone species, and learn about efforts to conserve these adorable little critters.

Cultural History

• Indigenous Peoples: Explore the rich history of the Paiute people and their deep connection to the land..

Climate Change

• Ecosystem Impact: See firsthand how climate change is affecting Bryce’s landscapes, altering species populations, and speeding up erosion.​

• Ruby’s Inn, where you’ll relax in comfy double rooms just minutes from the park’s entrance.

• The program fee will cover food, accommodations, program fees, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

• January 31, 2025: Application deadline
• February 5, 2025: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2025: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2025: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2025: Full payment is no longer refundable
