🌟 STEAM in the PARK 🌟
Bryce Canyon
July 7- 11, 2027
Cost: $755

Overview:
Enter a landscape shaped over time, where hoodoos stand like a quiet city made of stone. At sunrise, brilliant colors spread across the amphitheater, while winding trails lead through formations created by wind, water, ice, and time. Campers will explore the geology, history, and cultural connections of Bryce Canyon while learning what it takes to protect a fragile landscape that may appear permanent but is continually changing.

Highlights of the Week:
  • The Geology of Hoodoos: Explore how frost, erosion, and the passage of time formed Bryce Canyon’s famous stone spires.
  • Changing Color and Light: Observe how sunlight and shadow transform the colors, textures, and appearance of the canyon walls throughout the day.
  • Indigenous Connections: Discover the stories and enduring connections of the Southern Paiute people, whose history and culture are deeply rooted in this land.
  • The Discovery of Bryce Canyon: Learn how the Bryce Canyon area became known to visitors and how early residents, explorers, conservationists, and community members helped shape its story.
  • Chuck Wagon Dinner and Dark Skies on the Rim: Enjoy an evening of delicious food, meaningful conversation, and extraordinary stargazing beneath some of the clearest skies in America.
  • Living and Learning at Ruby’s Inn: Campers will stay together at Ruby’s Inn in lodge rooms with two beds. This historic setting will become part of the learning experience as campers discover Ruby’s role in introducing visitors to Bryce Canyon. Shared meals, conversations, and daily reflections will help build a strong community throughout the week.
