Overview:
Glacier is camp at its wildest—a place where ice-carved valleys, rushing rivers, and wildflower-filled meadows remind us that nature is never still. Every hike, sweeping view, and glacier reveals a story of change and helps us understand our place within it.

​Highlights of the Week:

• Glacier Builders: Create a miniature glacier and observe how moving ice carves and reshapes the land.
• Wildlife Watchers: Journal the remarkable adaptations of marmots, mountain goats, bears, and other animals living in a changing environment.
• Blackfeet Stories: Learn from Indigenous knowledge keepers whose history, culture, and connections are deeply rooted in this land.
• ​Water Studies at Big Creek: Investigate the flowing water of Big Creek and explore how water quality, aquatic organisms, weather, and the surrounding landscape are connected.
• Logan Pass Crossing: Stand along the Continental Divide surrounded by dramatic mountain views, seasonal wildflowers, and the possibility of seeing mountain goats.
• Cabin Community: Campers will live and learn together in cabins with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. This community setting will provide time for shared meals, conversations, daily reflection, and meaningful connections.

Accommodations:

• Glacier Institute in dormitories with bunk beds and shared bathrooms
• We are staying at BIG CREEK OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTER
• Some campers will be on top bunks

​Costs:

• $940 per camper.
• ​The program fee will cover food, accommodations, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

​​Travel:

• Travel to and from camp is the sole responsibility of each camper.
• Nearest Airports:
  Glacier Park International Airport (FCA)

Beginning & End

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

Important dates:

• January 31, 2027: Application deadline
• February 5, 2027: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2027: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2027: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2027: Full payment is no longer refundable
