Overview:
Welcome to the Smokies, where mornings start with mist curling through mountain hollers and nights end under a blanket of stars. This camp invites you to wander old-growth trails, share stories rooted in Appalachian culture, and discover why this place is called the most biodiverse park in the country.

🌟 Highlights of the Week:

• Creature Quest: Flip logs and follow trails to uncover salamanders, fireflies, and the forest webs that make the Smokies a living lab.
• Mountain Music: Gather round to hear Appalachian ballads and stories passed down through generations.
• Cherokee Connections: Sit in circle and learn how Indigenous traditions continue to shape these mountains.
• Echoes of History: Walk where loggers, settlers, and rangers left their mark—and imagine what resilience means today.
• Bonus Highlight — Cades Cove Stroll: Step back in time as you explore cabins, mills, and meadows that tell pioneer stories.

Accommodations:

• Tremont Institute in dormitories with bunk beds and shared bathrooms

• $860 per camper
• The program fee will cover food, accommodations, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

• February 5, 2026: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2026: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2026: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2026: Full payment is no longer refundable
