Overview:
Camp on the shore of Lake Michigan means watching sand move like water, climbing dunes that feel alive, and uncovering stories written in both nature and history. Indiana Dunes is where camp becomes a hands-on lesson in resilience and restoration.

🌟 Highlights of the Week:

• Seed Seekers: Search for nature’s tiny treasures and discover how planting natives brings the landscape back to life.
• Water Testers: Collect, test, and compare freshwater samples from the Great Lakes.
• Cultural Cartographers: Map stories of Indigenous, immigrant, and industrial communities.
• Wetland Watchers: Step into marshes and forests to study Great Lakes ecosystems.
• Bonus Highlight — Restoration Rangers: Roll up your sleeves and help restore a fragile wetland.

• Indiana Dunes Learning Center with bunk beds and shared bathrooms

• $775 per camper
• The program fee will cover food, accommodations, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

Beginning & End

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

• January 31, 2026: Application deadline
• February 5, 2026: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2026: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2026: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2026: Full payment is no longer refundable
