Overview:
This is the wild North Cascades, a rugged classroom of sharp peaks and blue ice. At camp, you’ll lace up your boots, dive into glacier stories, and feel the grit of a landscape constantly on the move—where every river, rock, and ring of a tree has something to teach.

🌟 Highlights of the Week:

• Avalanche Lab: Build mini avalanches and see how snow reshapes mountainsides.
• Tree Timekeepers: Slice into tree rings to read hidden stories of fire and drought.
• Indigenous Voices: Hear from Native knowledge keepers about mountain resilience.
• Climate Detectives: Hike to glaciers and track the changes happening before our eyes.
• Bonus Highlight — Diablo Lake Kayak: Paddle through turquoise waters colored by ancient ice.

Accommodations:

• North Cascades Institute in dormitory styled rooms with bunk beds and shared bathrooms
• ​Some campers will be on top bunks

• $895 per camper
• The program fee will cover food, accommodations, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

Beginning & End

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

• January 31, 2026: Application deadline
• February 5, 2026: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2026: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2026: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2026: Full payment is no longer refundable
