Overview:
Olympic National Park takes outdoor learning to another level. Campers can begin the day along a rocky coastline, wander beneath the moss-covered trees of a temperate rainforest, and finish among mountain landscapes crowned by snow and glaciers. Each distinct ecosystem offers an opportunity to slow down, investigate, and discover how water connects the park’s forests, shorelines, wildlife, and mountains.

​Highlights of the Week:​

• Water-Quality Testing: Work like scientists to collect and test water samples while investigating how temperature, clarity, chemistry, and surrounding habitats help reveal the health of an ecosystem.
• Carving Stories: Learn about cedar traditions and their cultural importance through experiences guided by cultural stewards.
• Mountain Highs: Explore Olympic’s alpine environment and discover how glaciers, elevation, weather, and seasonal changes shape life in the mountains.
• Ecosystem Explorers: Journal the connections among the park’s rainforests, rivers, shorelines, and mountain peaks.
• Salish Canoeing: Experience the water from a traditional perspective while learning about the cultural, historical, and ecological importance of Salish canoes. 

Accommodations:

• Nature Bridge in dormitory style rooms with beds and shared bathrooms

• $770 per camper
• ​The program fee will cover food, accommodations, supplies, and equipment for all activities.

​​Travel:

• Travel to and from camp is the sole responsibility of each camper.
• Nearest Airports:
  Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
  Portland International Airport (PDX)​

​Beginning & End

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

• January 31, 2027: Application deadline
• February 5, 2027: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2027: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2027: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2027: Full payment is no longer refundable
