Within the embrace of majestic redwoods, our program is a journey of discovery—bridging science, culture, environment, and the urgent narrative of climate change.
At the heart of our STEAM in the PARK program lies a promise: a promise of rich learning, awe-inspiring revelations, and memories etched amidst the timeless giants of Redwood National Park. Join us on this multifaceted odyssey and let the redwoods whisper their age-old secrets into your soul. 🌳🍃

🌳 Duration & Accommodations:

  • Immerse yourself in 5 days and 4 serene nights under the canopy of ancient redwoods.
  • Experience the essence of nature in rustic historic cabins, complete with snug bunk beds and shared facilities.
  • Shared bathhouse (These are not located inside the cabins.)
  • Bond over delicious family-style meals, fostering lasting connections and enriching dialogues.
  • Maximum Capacity: Space limited to 45 eager explorers.
🏕️ Lodging:
Rest and rejuvenate at the Wolf Creek Education Center, nestled close to the picturesque Newton B. Drury Scenic Pkwy, Orick, CA 95555.

"Trees of Mystery": Journey to this legendary grove, where nature's marvels intertwine with age-old myths, immersing you in the enchanting tales of forest giants.

  • Old Growth Forest Studies: Delve into the realm of ancient forests, their ecological marvels, and their crucial role in carbon sequestration.
  • Second Growth Forest Studies: Explore the stories of younger forests, their resilience, and their harmonious coexistence within the grander ecosystem.
  • Yurok Tribe Session: Engage deeply with the Yurok Tribe, unearthing tales of kinship with the redwoods and their enduring commitment to nature's preservation.
  • Banana Slug Challenge: Embrace a delightful interactive study of the banana slug—its ecological role and the hurdles it faces in a changing climate.
