Overview:
Welcome to Yosemite National Park, where granite cliffs rise above peaceful meadows, giant trees reach toward the sky, and every trail offers something new to discover. Campers will live and learn together in the heart of this iconic landscape, working alongside park rangers and exploring the forests, wildflowers, wildlife, and habitats that make Yosemite extraordinary.

​Highlights of the Week:

• El Capitan Meadow Walk: Explore the meadow beneath El Capitan while observing the towering granite walls, changing landscape, and wildlife that call Yosemite Valley home.
• Work With Park Rangers: Learn side by side with park rangers who study, protect, and share the natural and cultural stories of Yosemite.
• Trees and Wildflowers: Investigate Yosemite’s remarkable plant life, from towering trees to seasonal wildflowers, and discover how plants survive in different environments.
• Animal Habitats: Look for signs of wildlife and learn how animals find food, water, shelter, and space throughout the park.
• Learning in the Landscape: Use Yosemite’s meadows, forests, waterways, and rocky environments as an outdoor classroom for hands-on exploration and discovery.
• Cabin Community: Campers will stay together in shared cabin rooms with upper and lower beds. Living, learning, and relaxing in the same space will help create a welcoming community throughout the week.

Accommodations:
Nestled on Henness Ridge, your stay at the National Environmental Science Center (NESC) includes:

• Bunk-style lodging with shared outdoor bathrooms.
• Delicious meals provided daily.
• Access to Yosemite’s awe-inspiring trails and activities.

​Costs:

• $930 per camper.
• The program fee will cover food, accommodations*, program fees, supplies, and equipment for all activities.
• *Campers will need to provide their own towels 

​​Travel:

• Travel to and from camp is the sole responsibility of each camper.
• Nearest Airports:
  San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
  Oakland International Airport (OAK)
  Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)

Beginning & End

• Registration is 2-4:00 pm on Day 1
• Checkout by 10:00 am on Day 5

• January 31, 2027: Application deadline
• February 5, 2027: Camp acceptance/rejection notifications sent
• February 15, 2027: $100 nonrefundable deposit deadline
• May 1, 2027: FULL STEAM in the PARK payment deadline
• May 15, 2027: Full payment is no longer refundable
